Nestled near the historic Chiran Samurai District, Toyotamahime Shrine venerates Princess Toyotamahime, believed to bless childbirth, fertility, matchmaking, and safe sea voyages. Built originally in the early Heian period, the current shrine structure dates back centuries and honors multiple deities. The shrine’s serene grounds, marked by vibrant autumn gingko leaves and clear flowing water, provide a peaceful retreat.
